1. What OddSense is
OddSense is an information service. From the prices bookmakers offer, it works out an estimate of what each selection should pay and how closely the bookmakers agree, and REF, its AI advisor, gives its own take on each game.
OddSense is not a bookmaker or a gambling operator. It does not take bets, hold money or pay out winnings, and nothing on it is a recommendation to bet.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to use OddSense, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for betting. Betting is restricted or prohibited in some places, and you are responsible for making sure that what you do complies with the laws that apply to you.
3. Your account
Some features need an account. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
4. What the figures are
- Fair value is a consensus worked out from bookmaker prices. It is an estimate, not a forecast, and OddSense does not predict who will win.
- Prices, scores, clocks and other data come from third parties. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and can be out of date by the time you read them.
- REF, OddSense’s pricing model, is still in development. Until it ships, every figure is worked out from bookmaker prices alone.
5. No advice, no guarantees
Information on OddSense is provided for general information only and is not betting, financial or legal advice. We do not promise any result or profit.
Every bet can lose. Check the price with the bookmaker before you bet, and only stake what you can afford to lose.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or resell OddSense data or content in bulk, or use automated means to access the service beyond normal browsing;
- interfere with, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to the service;
- use OddSense to break the law or to target people under 18;
- misuse another person’s account.
7. Third-party data, names and logos
OddSense shows data supplied by third parties, and the names, logos and crests of leagues and clubs, which belong to their owners. They are used to identify what the information is about. OddSense is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
OddSense does not name, rank or link to bookmakers. Its figures are worked out from many bookmakers’ prices together, and nothing on it is an advertisement for any of them.
8. Our content
The OddSense name, logo, design and original text belong to us. You may use OddSense for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise reproduce or exploit it without our written permission.
9. Availability and changes
We try to keep OddSense running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error free or unchanged. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, OddSense is provided as it is, and we are not liable for losses that come from relying on it, for bets you place, or for the actions of bookmakers and other third parties.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using OddSense after a change, you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law and complaints
OddSense is run from Portugal, and these terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection that the mandatory rules of your country’s law give you. Consumers can also use the alternative dispute resolution entities available in Portugal and make a complaint in the electronic Livro de Reclamações at https://www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
